I'm impressed that you managed to pay down debt while still traveling and otherwise having a life. Oh, hell, I'm impressed with everything you've done so far and the even-better things that you're going to do this year!

Wow. Incredibly great read. The transgendered community is one of the parts of the GLBT community that I just don't know a lot about and, as a gay woman and an ally, I really feel like should educate myself more. This was definitely a step in that process.

Thanks for posting it.

We kind of figured they'd end up at Sidwell and while we know they'll have a fantastic education, I think a lot of us in this area were hoping they'd go into the D.C. public school system instead. I know, I appreciate the security risk, but I tell ya, I bet the educational system would improve mightily if Barack's girls weren't getting the type of education they -- and all the young'ns in this country -- deserve.

I've heard from a number of people that if the answers to questions on their little survey doesn't tip the religious scales just so according to the eHarmony formula, then they were denied. If God's reviewing the apps, that might explain why it offered no gay pairings.

Actually, I was denied almost 2 years ago. My coping skills were too good, but... ultimately, I don't *want* additional holes in my head!

Hope all's well in Twin Citiesland! *mwah*

Those a-holes @ Jamba stopped making this when I was pregnant with my son in 2004. I really craved it and never forgave them.

I made this today... used vanilla ice cream (1 CUP), 3/4 cup pumpkin pie mix, 1 cup ice, and a splash more soy milk, with a dash of nutmeg. Yum!! :)

Learning how the different settings interact with one another is key to getting the most out of your camera. Understanding it all takes time and practice, but once you've got the hang of it, your pictures will turn out great!

Here is some information on what the different ISO values mean and how they impact shutter speed and aperture:
click here to learn more about ISO values

Ooh! Ooh!!! *raises hand*

May I suggest you locate the uncut version of the book? It's amazing and WAY better than the smaller version that was first published.

That book is about my favorite of all time.
