Decisions, Decisions

I have a friend from high school, whom I’ve located, and a part of me wants to give her a holla. A bit of reconnaisance already turned up her present location, but today I dug up contact info on a whim. Thing is, I’m not at all happy about the way we left off. As in, we didn’t really. She just left.

We had an interesting sort of relationship to begin with (I didn’t sleep with this one). We were sort of driven together by being a smidge on the fringes of another group. We ended up at the same college, so we hung out a bit in college, too. Where it gets weird is we both found ourselves in the same city, far away, quite by chance. We hung out for a couple months, and then she left to go back home and I never heard another peep. We both went back to school after that summer was over, so it’s not like we were never near each other again. I sent a few emails that were never returned.

Anyhoo, It’s been 3.5 years since that happened. I’ve been feeling like I did something wrong, so that’s keeping me from just sending an email and saying hi. I’m not expecting her to explain what happened or anything, but I feel like her response to a “just wanted to say hi” email from me (if she responds) might give me a clue as to where she stands. But then some people aren’t receptive to being google-stalked, either. Not sure what to do.

    What is google-stalking?

You can find almost anything (and anyone!) on google.com.. it’s a fab search engine. If they are online anywhere, google will help you find them… hence “google stalking” .
